Van Meter Spirit Wear makes great holiday gifts - and will be here in time for the holiday break if you order now. A variety of styles are available in child and adult sizes. Order Forms are due by Dec. 1st.

Buzz Book (Student Directory)
Buzz Books are in and have been delivered! This essential book of student contact information as well as information about Van Meter school, Home & School Club activities and contacts, and much more is still available for purchase in the school office. Price is $15 each, or two for $20. Buzz Book is also an important source of income that supports Home & School Club programs for your students.

Pumpkin Patch results are In!
Pumpkin Patch was a huge success! This important fundraiser brought in $28,000 before expenses!! We sold 606 passports, every last baked good, practically every pizza pie, $9600 worth of carnival tickets and $1600 of raffle tickets! And based on all the smiling faces and laughter - a great deal of fun was had by all!! Proceeds go to important Home & School Club programs that directly benefit the students of Van Meter every day.
The Home & School Club thanks all of the wonderful parents, volunteers, school staff and community members for all their hard work in putting together this year’s Pumpkin Patch. And please join us in extending a special thank you to this year’s Pumpkin Patch Chairperson, Tammy Pryor. Fundraising Events & Activities
The Van Meter HSC volunteers organize and run a number of Fundraising events and programs each year. Without these fundraising activities, the HSC would not be able to provide the many important programs we support each year. Here is a list of our Fundraising efforts:
Major Fundraising Events
Pumpkin Patch (Fall) - A wonderful fall carnival tradition for the whole family that is also one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.
Bulldog Stampede Walkathon (Late Spring)
Giftwrap Sales Promotion (Fall)
Class Basket Auction (Spring)
Adult Fundraising Event - Every other year, HSC will hold an adults-only fundraising event and auction.

How Can You Help?
1. Participate - Come to our events & have some fun while you support our school!
2. Donate - Support our fundraising events like eScrip, Gift Wrap Sales, Pumpkin Patch, Bulldog Stampede (walkathon) and Book Fairs!

LGEF - The Los Gatos Education Foundation is a fundraising organization dedicated to the Los Gatos Unified School District. The Van Meter HSC (as well as the other Home & School Clubs in our district) partners with LGEF to provide necessary funding in the areas of Science, Music, Art, and Technology (SMART).
