Funded Programs


The Home & School club provides vital funding to programs that enrich your child’s development. With budget short falls becoming the norm in school districts across the country it has now fallen to parent teacher organizations like Home & School Club to help raise funds to keep on providing these vital programs and equipment. The list below represents the programs that Home & School club directly supports. If you have any questions about any of these programs please contact us or come to one of the Home & School club meetings throughout the year.

Funds raised by the Home & School Club directly benefit the students of Van Meter.  Here is a list of Programs & Activities that will be funded by HSC during the 2016 – 2017 school year:


Laptop Cart – This year we will make a one-time, special purchase of a new computer cart with 30 laptops for classroom use.
Technology Maintenance – Cost of replacement bulbs for Document Cameras previously purchased by HSC.
